The North East Learning Trust was founded by The Academy at Shotton Hall in Peterlee in 2015.
Our multi-academy Trust exists to give children across the North East of England the very best education. Our Trust is founded on deeply held principles that every child has the right to an excellent education and our vision is that every child experiences excellence every day.
All academies in our Trust are committed to:
The North East Learning Trust is a family of six secondary schools (including four sixth forms), three primary schools and our teacher training provider, Shotton Hall SCITT.
Our schools are geographically spread across the north east of England, from Ashington in south Northumberland down to Barnard Castle in County Durham and across to Durham City and the east Durham coast.
The North East Learning Trust is governed by people in our local communities who have each made a significant impact on the lives of young people.
