Sacriston Academy

Sacriston Academy joined the Trust in 2017 and almost immediately underwent a programme of much needed improvement works to its Victorian buildings.

Since initial remedial works, the school has been transformed inside and out with new play areas and an internal makeover. Improvements have also been seen across the entire spectrum of teaching and learning activity, with the school now thriving and seeing improved progress, behaviour and outcomes. Ofsted agree and awarded Sacriston 'good' overall with 'outstanding' for behaviour and attitudes, personal development and early years' provision in their October 2021 inspection.
