Bedlington Academy

Bedlington Academy joined the Trust in April 2018 with a brand new school building and outstanding sports facilities but an inadequate Ofsted grade.

 

Trust sponsored interventions focussed on raising the quality of teaching and learning with improvements now shining through with consistently accelerating standards in the key areas of progress, performance outcomes, and behaviour. In 2022, Ofsted awarded the schools a good rating in all areas. The school is now oversubscribed and is a popular first choice institution in the local area.
