Easington Academy is celebrating another glowing report from Ofsted, who confirmed that the school has upheld its high standards of education since their last inspection in 2019. Easington Academy retained their ‘Good’ judgement with personal development categorised as ‘Outstanding’.
Following inspection in May, the report praises the school for its ‘ambitious curriculum’ and ‘culture of mutual respect and high aspiration’. Pupils were observed to rise to the ‘high expectations’ set by staff and ‘achieve well’.
Personal development at Easington Academy was rated as ‘outstanding’ with inspectors commenting that “pupils develop into well rounded citizens who respect others”. The school’s robust rewards system was also highlighted as a strength in the report.
Speaking of her delight with the result, Nicola Falconer, Head of School, said:

We are delighted that inspectors recognised our commitment to providing the best possible start in life for our young people and our culture of high aspiration for all.
